SKINNED PROMPT

SKINNED
For this project I would like you to chose an object that is meaningful or formally interesting.  You will need to make a “skin” that will cover this object.  The skin will be applied directly on to the object of your choice.  I would like you to think about how the underlying form of the object will influence our understanding of the material that is being placed on top and vice versa.  Both object and skin will work together to create an idea or re-categorization of each material used.  Think about the object and skin as two words that form a sentence.  If these two words would come together to create a sentence what would the verb or action be between them?

Please come to the next class with an object and 5 different coverings to experiment with.
